Performing in front of an audience and the preparation that goes into it is what playing an instrument is all about. Playing to a crowd really helps to build a student’s confidence and ability. There are regular ‘Musicians of Manhattan Way’ Concerts each year which are always lovely events for a Saturday evening. Exam candidates perform their pieces to an audience of parents and supporters. Other students are always invited to perform too. Students who have lessons at schools also perform in assemblies and concerts at school.

I am proud of how many performance opportunities that our students get each year. Those who want to take part have several opportunities to do so throughout the year.
